Celine Dion, the world's most famous singer, has canceled her North American tour due to health concerns.

Celine Dion, a Quebec celebrity, said on Saturday that she will no longer be able to perform the North American portion of her "Courage worldwide tour," citing ongoing fitness issues.

"I was expecting it to be extremely fantastic by now," the singer wrote, "but I believe I'll have to be a bit more patient."

Following a brief hiatus due to the pandemic, Dion is set to resume her international tour in November 2021, with a series of shows in Las Vegas.

She canceled the date in October after tweeting that she had "begun to endure severe and chronic muscular cramps."

The singer also intended to extend the tour, which would begin in Denver in March and would visit 15 cities in the United States and Canada over the course of two months.

Dion's management also stated in a press statement that the date had been canceled because "her rehabilitation is taking longer than planned."

According to the statement, Dion had done 52 gigs as part of her Courage World Tour before the outbreak, and she still plans to play the European leg, which begins May 25 in Birmingham, England.

"I am really delighted to have been able to conquer the epidemic and come back with a healthy figure," Star said of his followers' support.

"I feel your love and support, and that means everything to me." AFP
